Binder Coverage
A Binder will be issued when a qualified New Customer is willing to get insurance with us, but has pending required documents that can only be submitted at a later time, such as a No Claims Certificate, vehicle registration, etc. A Binder may also be issued when the insured can only make a partial payment on the required payment. The remaining balance usually is payable no later than two weeks.
Please remember that a Binder is only a temporary coverage to give you time to submit the necessary documents for a full year auto policy or time to make the full payment of the auto policy premium, if liability only.
A Binder is usually based on coverage of Ten (10) Working Days Only. Any loss after the expiration date shown on the coverage card will not be covered.
